Boo

Maybe you weren't expecting that, I don't think I was? I'm not sure what brought me back to DA, I think it was just while I was looking for inspiration! So I signed in to find hundreds of things requiring attention from over the past..nine months Oops indeed!

Anyway, for anybody reading - and I'm really not sure if m/any will!; it'll take a while for me to get back into the swing of things, if I do. I haunt Facebook these days mostly, since cosplay was put on the backburner. But generally I don't spend much time online other than that. Work keeps me busy, and I'm currently weighing up options as to whether to take off to Australia to work for a year, or apply for my PhD at last. I've decided I won't dismiss either at the moment, keep my options open and pursue both until one becomes a very possible reality. For the moment I still have a great job which has had some challenging but rewarding moments this year, and I really value that I have this position at this stage in my life.

I've also taken up playing piano again I'm really thrilled about this as it was something I've been meaning to do for years ^_^ I used to play between 8-12 years of age. Not all that long and I was sorry to have not continued with it, but when you're a teenager playing a classical instrument isn't necessarily top of the to-do list! Things change however and this year I tracked myself down a piano and started to play again And it's slowly coming along. I've also been back to Australia, this time with my lovely boyfriend James who somehow was able to put up with me for three weeks straight, let alone two 26 hour flights in a confined space! I'm still not sure how he managed that

I've also been keeping up my work at the gym (mostly), and now that I'm considering attempting to cosplay again, I've found that all of my old cosplays no longer fit properly and the same for half my wardrobe which is a shame because I had some lovely dresses and things *sigh* I've lost about a stone which for me is pretty good! I also do a bit of yoga when the class isn't overly-subscribed, and have really enjoyed doing this too. Incredibly relaxing and satisfying, and feeling much more flexible for having done it too ^_~

So that's where things are up to with me, for those who are interested! (? )

I may put a few pics up soon, things that should have gone up a long time ago! But life takes over sometimes. I appreciate all of those who have taken the time to stick with me through the quiet periods, and I am truly amazed that people still take the time to visit and comment on my page too! Thank you
